In addition to its UAE Civil Aviation authorizations, ADA also holds international maintenance and quality certifications from prestigious regulatory authorities, which includes: The European Aviation Safety Authority 145 (EASA), the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States of America (FAA), the Presidency of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA), and the International Standards OrganisationISO 9001:2000.

Another growth area for Abu Dhabi Aviation is the specialized heavy-jet air cargo market. In 2008 ADA acquired a medium-size company based in Abu Dhabi that specializes in global cargo operations, Maximus Air Cargo, is now fully owned by Abu Dhabi Aviation. www.maximusaircargo.ae .  Among many other obvious advantages of having a fleet of heavy-jet transport aircraft available within the Abu Dhabi Aviation operating group, it also provides ADA the ability to position its helicopters around the world with an assurance of cooperation and control.

Abu Dhabi Aviation has built its own simulator, which will cover the training needs of all of its Clients in the UAE and MENA region. Clients in the Middle East will be able utilize this training facility instead of going to European facilities. To expand this business, Abu Dhabi Aviation has constructed a separate state of the building to facilitate the simulator and will develop to become an international hub for helicopter training. This would help build a different platform, type ratings on different aircraft, and manufacturers can use the simulator and be able to cater for different clients.
