Video Conferencing Systems
Video conferencing, through telecommunication technologies, allows two or more locations to communicate by simultaneous two-way video and audio transmissions. Video conferencing has also been referred to as visual collaboration' and is a type of groupware. Videoconferencing is different from videophone calls because it serves a conference or multiple locations rather than individuals. Videoconferencing has made significant inroads in business, education, medicine and media. There are two types of video conferencing systems, dedicated systems and desktop systems.
