Supermarkets are self-service, large stores, offering a wide variety of food and household products. Supermarkets have each product organized into aisles. Supermarkets typically offer meat, fresh produce, dairy, and baked goods aisles, plus shelf space reserved for canned and packaged goods. Supermarkets also sale kitchenware, household cleaners, pharmacy products and pet supplies. Some supermarkets also sell a variety of other products such as medicines and clothes, DVDs, sporting equipment and board games. Supermarkets are popular in that they offer a broad selection of goods, all under a single roof, at relatively low prices. Supermarkets usually have their own parking spaces.
