Storage - Self Storage
Self storage refers to storage of goods and products. Self storage is a facility wherein rooms, lockers containers and outdoor space is provided to tenants to help them store goods. Self storage includes rental on a month-to-month basis. A typical storage facility is approximately 2.5 to 5 acres with five to seven one-story drives up buildings, large roll-up doors and direct drive-up access to outside units. Self storage also offers outside parking for boats and motor vehicles. Self storage units are usually windowless and equipped with locks. Self storage units can be for household goods or else rented out to businesses for excess inventory and important documentation and records.
