European restaurants serve primarily European cuisine, or Western cuisine, that of Europe, including Russia and non-indigenous cuisines of North America, Oceania and Latin America. European restaurants are considered to be diverse in their choice of food, although there are common characteristics to distinguish Western cooking from cuisines of Asian countries and others. European restaurants basic menu include their English Sunday roast, to Welsh rarebit, cold borscht and Irish Stew among a variety of others. Many dairy products are used in the cooking process.
