Colour Separations - Offset, Photo Engraving Etc.
Color separation is the process wherein original artwork is separated into individual color components for printing, such as cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Combining these colors, a wide spectrum of colors is produced on the printed page. In simple words, colour separations are referred as a four-color printing process with each color applied to a printing plate. When the colors are combined on paper, as small dots, the human eye combines the colors to see the final image.
