Cinemas are theatres where motion pictures are shown for the purpose of fun and entertainment. With the latest in technology, cinemas now employ the use of 3D to further enlarge the onscreen picture, experience making it more thrilling and cinematic. Cinemas are most commonly known as picture houses and can accommodate up to 400 to 500 people at a time, depending upon its size. The movie is shown with a movie projector onto a large screen at the front of the auditorium. Cinemas have been seen through ages as a source of amusement and leisurely distraction from the everyday bustle of life. They sport stalls stacked with popcorns, cold drinks and nachos. One must first have a ticket to gain entrance to a cinema. Cinemas make it a rule to screen their clients to avoid threats of bombs. The show run time can be a week or more depending on the popularity of movie being screened at the hall. In the current scenario the culture of multiplexes has cropped up far and wide, with more than one movie being screened simultaneously at the same time and in the same premises.
