Chocolate & Cocoa
Chocolate & Cocoa are the roasted and ground seeds of the cacao tree, used, usually sweetened in the form of a powder, paste or solid block. High quality cocoa powder must be easily dissolved and have good flavor. Chocolate contains three main ingredients: cocoa paste, cocoa butter, sugar, and emulsifier. Normally also vanilla is added. Several types of chocolate are produced: white chocolate, milk chocolate, semi-sweet dark chocolate, dark chocolate, bitter chocolate, and unsweetened chocolate. Chocolate beverages are said to help treat fever and liver disease, also reportedly fight against fits of anger and bad moods, because of its phenyl ethylamine content. Chocolate and cocoa may also contain high amounts of sugar, harmful to the human body.
