Ras al-Khaimah, which in Arabic means “the top of the tent", is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. It is an ideally situated city, located as it is in one of the busiest trade routes in the world, as well as being blessed with stunning terrain all around and endless kilometers of pristine beaches.

This area has been inhabited for the past 4,000 years. The fertile agricultural land served as the food basket for the emirates of the Omani coast during the sixties and seventies of the last century.
